Description
Our slurry pinch valves, designed to control abrasive and corrosive slurries, has a reinforced sleeve as the only wetted part of the valve.
There is no need for packing, valve seats and mechanical parts. A choice of controls is available including pneumatic, electro-pneumatic and “smart” positioners
Mining Applications
The mining industry is traditionally a heavy user of TEKO pinch, slurry and tailings handling valves because of the highly abrasive nature of metal concentrates. We have proven success using our air release valves in this same environment in slurry and tailings applications as well as leaching processes. Other common valve applications are lime addition, mineral laden process and dilution waters, and a variety of specialty applications such as pneumatic conveying of dry concentrates.
